What materials are used for the frame?
We use premium, responsibly sourced oak and ash wood. Our frames are 20mm (0.79") thick and wide, providing a sturdier and more luxurious aesthetic than the common 14mm frames found elsewhere.
Is the paper museum-quality?
Yes. We use 250 gsm (110 lb) archival museum-quality paper. It is natural white, uncoated, and FSC-certified, ensuring it retains its integrity and color for decades without yellowing.
How is the artwork protected during shipping?
Each framed print is meticulously packaged with protective corners and wrap, then placed in a heavy-duty box. We use shatterproof plexiglass to ensure your artwork arrives in pristine condition.
Is the art print ready to hang?
Absolutely. Your RedKalion framed art print arrives fully assembled with a specialized hanging kit included, allowing for immediate and easy installation on your wall.
What is the archival life of this print?
By using acid-free, 250 gsm paper and archival-grade inks, our prints are designed to resist fading and degradation, maintaining their museum-quality appearance for over 75 years under normal indoor conditions.
When did Claude Monet paint the Antibes series?
Monet painted the Antibes series between January and May 1888. He was captivated by the unique Mediterranean light, producing nearly 40 canvases during this prolific period.
What characterizes Monet's technique in 'Antibes Seen from the Salis Gardens'?
This work features short, rhythmic brushstrokes and a high-key palette. Monet focused on the "envelope" of light, capturing the specific atmospheric conditions of the French Riviera at different times of day.
